International Showcase at the Week of Slovenian Drama
The first DoSEL International Showcase will take place in Kranj at the 55th Week of Slovenian Drama and will present four performances originally written and performed in a smaller European language. The performances will come from Bulgaria, Kosovo, Malta, and Spain and will be performed in Bulgarian, Albanian, Maltese and Catalan languages. The programme will host also an artistic residency, round table discussions, a public presentation of the DoSEL project and more.
September & October 2025, Zagreb, Croatia and Ljubljana, Slovenia
Satellite Showcase
The Satellite Showcase will be hosted by the National Theatre in Zagreb, Croatia, and Ljubljana, Slovenia in the fall of 2025, presenting a performance from Bilbao, which will be played in the Basque and Spanish languages and subtitled in Croatian or Slovene language.
April 2026 Valletta, Malta
International Showcase
At the second DoSEL International Showcase, which will be hosted by the National Agency for the Performing Arts Malta in Valletta, the performances from the partner countries will be presented, and performed in their respective languages. The rich programme will consist also of public discussions, workshops, artistic residencies, and a presentation of the 24 first translations of European contemporary drama works.
