Located in the centre of the old town centre of Kranj and named after the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren. The Prešeren Theatre’s productions are recognised as:
- thematically provocative;
- socially engaged;
- aesthetically sophisticated.
For the 55th year, organiser of the Week of Slovenian Drama – a festival dedicated to Slovenian drama.

Teatro Arriaga Antzokia, Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain
- The Arriaga Theatre is a historic public venue in the centre of Bilbao. With a history of over 130 years, it remains one of the most important theatres in the Basque Country and Spain.
- Under the artistic direction of European Culture Award winner and internationally renowned director Calixto Bieito, the theatre produces and presents outstanding opera, concerts, theatre and dance performances.
- It can seat 1,200 spectators and presents around 200 performances each season, attended by more than 150,000 spectators annually.

The Estonian Theatre Agency is the main development and competence centre in the field of Estonian performing arts. Its main activities are:
- development of new drama and copyright mediation;
- the collection of Estonian theatre information and statistical data;
- ensuring the visibility of Estonian theatre abroad.

Ivan Vazov National Theatre, Sofia, Bulgaria
- Founded in 1904, the Ivan Vazov National Theatre is the oldest professional theatre in the country, with great symbolic significance and an important role in the cultural landscape.
- The theatre has three stages (the main stage seats 780 spectators).
- In one theatre season, more than 600 performances and around 10 premieres are staged, attracting almost 150,000 spectators each year.
- The theatre has a permanent cast of almost 80 actors.

Kosovo National Theatre, Pristina, Kosovo
- The National Theatre of Kosovo was founded in 1946 and is the leading theatre institution in Kosovo. It promotes the Albanian language and provides a space for local stories, traditions and social issues.
- The theatre has a rich history and presents classic Albanian plays, contemporary dramas and international adaptations.
- Since 2007, it has organised an annual competition which promotes plays in the Albanian language.

National Agency for the Performing Arts, Teatru Malta, Valletta, Malta
- Founded in 2016, Teatru Malta operates as Malta’s national theatre company with a fresh and dynamic artist-led approach.
- It is based at MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts.
- This year, Teatru Malta is paving new paths in Malta by establishing a pioneering five-actor hybrid ensemble, engaging in a number of local and international co-productions, and fostering endeavours that push the boundaries of what was thought to be possible.

- Sala Beckett was founded in Barcelona in 1989.
- An international space for playwriting, training and experimentation.
- Dedicated to promoting contemporary drama and playwriting – supporting Catalan playwrights and connecting them with authors from other cultures and traditions.
- It is engaged with Catalan language and contemporaneity.

Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia
- The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is the central and the oldest theatre institution in Croatia, built in 1895. The new theatre building is expected to open by the end of 2025.
- It has three national ensembles – opera, drama and ballet.
- It performs more than 220 performances yearly, as well as international festivals and co-productions.
- The auditorium seats 715 people.
- The Croatian National Theatre is a member of the Opera Europa network, the FEDORA platform and the European Theatre Convention network.

- ETC is the largest network of publicly-funded theatres in Europe, with 70 members in 33 countries.
- It organises a wide range of activities to create brilliant new theatre, support and develop people working in theatre, and fight for the European theatre sector in a political context.
- These activities are open to a combination of member theatres, theatre workers, artists across the continent and audiences interested in theatre.

The Fence, Nacka, Stockholm, Sweden
- The Fence is an international network for working playwrights, dramaturgs and theatre makers – across Europe and beyond, founded in 2003.
- As of 2024, the network comprises 280 members from 54 countries.
- The Fence holds network meetings around every 9 months (30 to date) and participates in a range of different collaborative projects.
